| Summary, etc. | Mateo había sido el evangelio más utilizado en la liturgia, el más rico en moral, y muchos lo tomaban simplemente como «el evangelio», aunque el siglo XX lo puso en desventaja ante Marcos (más dramático), Lucas (más narrativo) y Juan (más místico). Pero ahora vuelve al primer plano, por su multiforme riqueza y por su forma de unir la historia de Jesús y la de los cristianos , desde Galilea hasta Antioquía y Roma, en diálogo con las iglesias judeo cristianas y paulinas, apelando al testimonio de Pedro y de los Doce. Así ha querido comentarlo Xabier Pikaza, recogiendo la memoria de los duros conflictos antiguos, que debieron resolverse en diálogo, sabiendo que allí donde se dice Jesús se está diciendo Iglesia (en comunión de vida, desde y con el judaísmo). Así ha podido presentarlo como evangelio universal de Jesús, del 30 al 85 d.C., en este comienzo de siglo XXI, pues seguimos teniendo sus mismos problemas y buscamos soluciones semejantes. |
