| Summary, etc. | Gerad von Rad, universalmente conocido por su «Teología del antiguo testamento», ha publicado también, junto a sus comentarios al Génesis y al Deuteronomio, una serie de trabajos de investigación que se pueden considerar como absolutamente magistrales. Gran parte de ellos aparecen ahora en castellano reunidos en este volumen. Por su amplitud y el eco que han suscitado destacamos los dos siguientes: »El pueblo de Dios en el Deuteronomio», que constituye el mejor esfuerzo por detectar la esencia de la identidad religiosa de Israel, y «El problema histórico-formal del Hexateuco», donde se analizan las tradiciones y labor redaccional de los libros que van del Génesis a Josué y se asientan las bases de todo el estudio posterior del Pentateuco. Con ellos resaltamos otros trabajos que de un modo en parte definitivo han precisado la intención teológica de autores o documentos como el Sacerdotal, el Deuteronomista o el Cronista. De gran precisión y nitidez histórica son los estudios dedicados a la historia de David, la tierra prometida, el éxodo y el arca, la ciudad santa de Sión o las llamadas confesiones de Jeremías, etc. Se incluyen finalmente unos trabajos de carácter más teológico sobre la fe y la creación, la visión del mundo y el valor que tiene una lectura actualizada, tipológica del antiguo testamento. |
