| Summary, etc. | Lo que dicen los terapeutas y por qué (3ª edición en inglés) es un libro de texto, práctico y flexible, destinado a los estudiantes de counseling. Esta nueva edición incluye más de cien técnicas y más de mil respuestas terapéuticas específicas que no solo dilucidan el porqué, sino también cómo llevar a la práctica una sesión óptima de terapia. Las transcripciones muestran a los estudiantes el modo de integrar y desarrollar diferentes contenidos durante las sesiones, así como ejercicios prácticos que les ayudarán a desplegar, discutir, combinar y adaptar diferentes enfoques en su trabajo con los clientes. Además, hemos añadido adiciones específicas para abordar el uso de la tecnología en terapia, así como las competencias básicas centrales que se esperan de los terapeutas. También hemos agregado a los diferentes capítulos las secciones tituladas “Detenerse a reflexionar”, así como orientaciones referentes al grado de habilidad asociado con cada técnica individual.
