Residential for the Elderly provides an in-depth exploration an account of the most stimulating projects of contemporary architectural. These buildings are studies in functionality and how projects have to adapt to programmes and requirements, and tailor to the type of care being called for: high or low-leveled dependency, dementia, etc. Actions have been taken within established environments where landscaping and interiors must be protected and designed from a user's perspective. It is a true challenge to a profession aiming to recast spaces as dwellings and enrich and integrate environments into something other than institutions for medical assistance.
