Publishers Weekly Review

In a follow-up to Mayflower Madam , Barrows, writing with freelance journalist Weiner, attempts to amuse as well as instruct on points of sexual decorum. The humor is less than witty, but the guide will no doubt attract those curious to learn from a paragon of vice. The authors give tips on garden-variety coupling--e.g., how to persuade a lover to shower before intercourse--as well as on ``talking dirty'' via computer, telephone and bulletin board. The experts' advice includes injunctions against showing favoritism in a menage a trois (or quatre) and dictates amenities to observe during gatherings of sexual ``masters'' and ``slaves.'' Readers are reassured, however, that for most erotic situations standard rules of deportment serve: be nice and remember to send a thank-you note. First serial to Cosmopolitan and Woman. (Feb.)
