Barry Cushway is an independent HR consultant and Personnel Adviser to the IOD. With over 30 years' HR and employment law experience, he has previously worked for Price Waterhouse, Hay and MSL and undertaken projects for over 100 public and private sector organizations. He is author and Executive Editor of Gee's best-selling loose-leaf work, Essential Facts: Employment and numerous other titles including The Employer's Handbook, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour and Design (all Kogan Page). He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and the Institute of Personnel and Development.
