Descripciones mejoradas de Syndetics:

"In this new edition, Clampitt helps us keep pace with the evolving landscape of management communication practice and scholarship. Indeed, this text is a treasure trove for use in and out of the classroom."

-Steven Ralston, University of Michigan, Flint

"This text is perhaps the best representative of the strategic-choice approach to organizational communication. Rather than reviewing the organizational communication studies research, this book applies research, integrates popular literature and reports of organizational members coping with actual incidents, and offers options for dealing with common managerial concerns."

-Philip Salem, Texas State University

CHOICE Review

This comprehensive presentation on organizational communication focuses on the people who do the communicating, and primarily the managers, and ways they can become more effective communicators. The usual concepts of the field are identified and succinctly explained. The real virtue of this presentation, however, derives from Clampitt's use of information and illustration, which are based on his field research and experience. Chapters on performance-evaluation feedback and implementing change are particularly noteworthy. The inclusion of a discussion on communication ethics is unusual and helpful. Clampitt's clear, concise style makes the volume readily accessible to the general reader. Strongly recommended to students of organizational communication and most especially to managers and other professionals employed in organizations. M. I. Kuhr Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania
