Daniele Pisani received a PhD in the History of Architecture and the City from the University of Venice in 2006. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher and has published several architectural monographs in Italian as well as authored several essarys on contemporary Brazilian architecture and Mendes da Rocha in particular for Italy's leading architecture publication, Casabella.Francesco dal Co is an Italian historian of architecture and director of the Department of History of Architecture at the University of Venice. He was a Professor of Architecture at Yale University from 1982 to 1991. He was the director of the Architecture Section of the Venice Biennale from 1988 to 1991. He is currently Senior Fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies of the National Gallery of Art, scholar at the Getty Center, and Member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Architectural Historians. He has also been an editor at the leading Italian architecture magazine Casabella since 1996.
