Drawing upon considerable experience with children who are sexual-abuse victims as well as families of the abused, the six authors have prepared a basic handbook. A major contribution is the development of a wide variety of assessment and treatment techniques that can be used with young children who do not have the words or maturity to describe what has happened. Legal and ethical issues are presented; the problems of presenting child testimony in court are fully explored.
