This book contains valuable material for caregivers of Alzheimer's patients. Marion Roach's compassionate introductory essay (a sequel to her Another Name for Madness , LJ 1/86) sets a tone of concern. Other essays describe support services for caregivers, including adult day care. Modification of the physical environmentat home and in institutionsis another important topic, as are units within long-term care facilities.
