Booklist Review

Gr. 6-12. According to Salvadori, this third edition "has been brought up to date on the few data that have changed with time." First pub~lished as Building: The Fight against Gravity [BKL Ja 15 80], the treatment--designed as an approach to teaching the principles of architecture to young people--is still a fine, clearly illustrated primer that requires more common sense from the reader than technical know~ledge. Index. ~--Sally Estes
