Booklist Review

The authors, all successful career women, discuss the choices they have made in order to reach the top of their professions. The result is a refreshing and candid look at the first generation of women to enter the ranks of senior management. The problems inherent in balancing a career and family, creating a successful marriage when the woman is the primary breadwinner, and facing barriers at the office are just some of the topics discussed. The text also features a survey of 160 professional women who contribute their thoughts and experiences on the joys and problems of high achievement. In addition, the authors interviewed the husbands of successful women to elicit their opinions on the impact of their wives' careers. A welcome addition to any management collection.
