279 p. : ill. ; col. ; 31 cm The first monograph showcasing the vibrant and contemporary interior designs of the Mexico-based studio Cuaik. Cuaik's interior designs are characterized by clean lines, neutral palettes, and abundant natural light. Their spaces often incorporate custom-made furniture and artworks, textured materials, and vibrant, strategically placed accents. Emphasizing functionality and aesthetic harmony, Cuaik blends contemporary design with local cultural elements, creating environments that are both elegant and inviting. Superbly photographed for the first time, this volume features a fine combination of residential and commercial spaces located across Mexico, Spain, and the US. Each project encompasses the architectural design of the space and the production of customized in-house furniture and art. By revisiting projects situated in Mexico City, the book offers valuable insights into the evolution of spaces over time with the aim of analyzing the enduring transformations experienced by these spaces. The resulting interiors feel welcoming and are spaces that bring people together: rooms in which to eat, live, and spend time with loved ones. Ten years since its founding, Cuaik is marking its debut at an international level with this publication, showcasing their innovative approach to interior design.--Provided by publisher Foreword Alfonso López Baz 7 -- Fragments of a Conversation Jorge Méndez Blake 11 -- Projects 2015 to 2025 -- Behind the Scenes 273 -- Acknowledgments 285 -- Projects: Prosecco Santa Fe Mexico City, 2015 -- Vista Mexico City, 2018 -- Hunan Artz Mexico City, 2019 -- Negroni Artz Mexico City, 2019 -- Pent Garden Mexico City, 2019 -- Sylvestre Artz Mexico City, 2019 -- Trastevere Mexico City, 2019 -- Sylvestre Interlomas State of México, 2019 -- Serrano Madrid, Spain, 2021 -- Sotogrande Andalusia, Spain, 2021 -- Capulines Mexico City, 2022 -- Human Satélite State of Mexico, 2022 -- Parque Vía México City, 2022 -- Prosecco Satélite State of Mexico, 2022 -- Lampuga Mexico City, 2022 -- 90 Mexico City, 2023 -- Club de Golf Mexico City, 2023 -- Sasu Mexico City, 2024 -- Gambit Vail, Colorado, 2023 -- Villalar Madrid, Spain 2024 -- Nobu Mexico City, 2024 -- Pía Mexico City, 2024 -- texts, Cuaik, Annuska Angulo.
