N2 - "The Canaveral is a fantastic, historical, creative fiction novel about slavery and the production of sugar cane in the Caribbean Sea. The events told transcend the times and the narratological elements of human existence. This novel is a creative fable between real and fictional events. Imaginary and real characters mix powerfully until the orchestration of the narrated story. The novel is a substantial combination of events that interact between reality and the fantasy of the plot. It is the story of three generations of landowners in Puerto Rico between 1520 and 1739. Raúl, the protagonist, fights for love and the abolition of slavery against his grandfather and his father."--Amazon.com
