A database of monthly and weekly averages of sea-surface temperature for the modern world ocean, collected by satellites between October 1981 and December 1990 and gridded by latitude and longitude, accompanied by ETOPO5 global gridded elevation and bathymetry data. Search software will retrieve a yearly sea-surface temperature profile for any oceanic location and display the data graphically.
