Table of contents covers S-2 and S-3 Forms, provides basic assignment number, date of storm, and approximate location of maximum center.

This volume is comprised of forms called "Storm Studies - Pertinent Data Sheet" with "Storm Studies - Isohytel Map" on reverse side, providing a record of major storms. Rainfall depth and duration is summarized in a tables and is an effort by the Army Engineer Department fo provide an accumulation of comprehensive rainfall data to evaluate flood potential of drainage basins, design of flood control, navigation, and construction of multiple-purpose projects.
