Popular, charismatic, Spanish-speaking astrologer Walter Mercado presents an embracing, optimistic forecast for the new millennium. In this enlightening and visionary work, Mercado tells how the 2,000-year Age of Pisces, dominated by patriarchy, racial and religious strife, and bitter warfare, now gives way to the Age of Aquarius--an era of tolerance and inclusion.

Library Journal Review

Flamboyant and charismatic, Puerto Rican astrologer Mercado has become a media superstar whose horoscopes and inspirational advice are featured in scores of Spanish-language newspapers and on radio and TV shows throughout the United States and Latin America. In this work, published simultaneously in English and Spanish this June, Mercado offers a New Age message for the coming Aquarian millennium and an impassioned plea for tolerance and ecological, social, and personal responsibility. In the process, he displays his talents as a synthesizer of multiple spiritual traditions, from traditional Christianity to Eastern mysticism to parapsychology, and a personal warmth that together have won him legions of devoted fans. A projected national media campaign and a five-city tour are likely to spur demand. A companion cassette version in Spanish is available from Time Warner AudioBks. (ISBN 1-57042-526-4. $12.98).
