Gr 9 Up-This title offers a historical overview rather than a medical explanation of the disease. Issues relating to HIV and AIDS are examined and a variety of viewpoints are presented and debated. For instance, the effectiveness of the drug AZT is examined in a clear, concise manner. The book has no illustrations and the presentation would be dry to average browsers.
