Booklist Review

This bright, cheerful, interesting text covers a variety of aspects of a teenager's appearance, including the colors, design, and appropriateness of clothing. It also treats personal care for both males and females--shaving, hair care, manicure, pedicure, and general personal grooming. Other matters discussed are the planned purchase of clothing and its repair, redesign, and recycling; the origin and care of textiles; and the construction of garments (by knitting and crocheting as well as by machine sewing). Index. SLK/AS.
