Booklist Review

Outplacement guru Drake takes job hunters through the sometimes bewildering maze of interviewing, in the process revealing what goes on on the other side of the desk. He pinpoints questions, dress codes, and body language skills needed to succeed in three interview phases; better yet, there are 22 skill builders that reiterate and reinforce what's been learned. Unfortunately, Drake glosses over some of the more important techniques, such as handling a stress interview. Nonetheless, a good first source for the tongue-tied and sweaty-palmed. Suggested readings appended. ~--Barbara Jacobs
