Booklist Review

Although overdue for a revision, this standard directory is still a valuable tool. Only those periodicals that represent ``real publishing opportunities'' are included. The 3,900 specialized professional journals are arranged in 73 fields of interest and are listed alphabetically within the appropriate subject area. Each entry includes title, address and telephone number, subscription and submission data with the date of first publication, frequency and circulation information, editorial content description, and intended audience. A periodical-title index, subject index with cross-references, editorial staff index, and sponsoring-organization index provide access to the journals.
