| Summary, etc. | "Hasta hace dos décadas atrás, los científicos sociales no habían escudriñado ni investigado a las minorías de personas que se definen como ateos o agnósticos (A/A). Esta situación ha ido cambiando de manera progresiva y al día de hoy ya hay un cúmulo de estudios internacionales sobre las creencias y estilos de vida de los A/A. Sin embargo, en Puerto Rico el tema ha sido poco estudiado. En este libro el editor y editoras le ofrecen al lector dos perspectivas únicas del tema de los A/A. En primer lugar, realizan una revisión abarcadora de literatura internacional sobre el tema. En segundo lugar, ofrecen las narraciones de 25 A/A puertorriqueños que contestan 5 preguntas fundamentales sobre sus creencias, bienestar, significados de vida, y posibles experiencias con el prejuicio y estigma social. El libro termina con un análisis de las tendencias en las contestaciones de los participantes.
