| Summary, etc. | Durante años se ha venido comentando, en general informalmente y en privado, las dificultades con las que sea encuentra la literatura producida en Puerto Rico en lo referente a su aprecio y su difusión en el extranjero. Se han invocado razones varias y bien fundamentadas: la evidente falta de embajadas y de órganos de difusión cultural en el exterior: en algunos casos, la visión distorsionada que se tiene de Puerto Rico en el mundo más allá de nuestras playas, y en muchísimos casos, meramente la crasa ignorancia en lo referente a nosotros mismos y nuestro entorno cultural. |
