| Summary, etc. | El filósofo del pensamiento vegetal Michael Marder, acompañado de las imágenes de la artista Anaïs Tondeur, nos enfrenta a la cara «más sucia» del capitalismo tardío y del Antropoceno, para guiarnos a través de los vertederos en los que estamos sumidos y sus consecuencias fisiológicas, sociales, políticas y medioambientales. La basura –nuestra basura– no cesa de crecer: la pisamos (nos engulle); la bebemos (microplásticos incluidos); la respiramos (hasta quedarnos sin oxígeno). «El vertedero filosófico» es un original ensayo sobre el concepto de vertido y de vertedero, lo desechable (según Marder, toda la existencia) y la inacción para salvarnos de nuestros propios excrementos. El vertedero no se refiere sólo a los restos de la sobreproducción industrial y el consumismo desbocado, sino ya al planeta Tierra en su globalidad, con todos sus ecosistemas y organismos, incluida la humanidad y su producción intelectual, inevitablemente contaminada. Vertedero es el nombre que define el ser de nuestra época. |
