| Expansion of summary note | «La cristología es el tema central y el eje de la teología cristiana. COnstituye la clave para todos los otros temas de la teología. El motivo y fundamento es que al comienzo y en el centro de la fe cristiana y de la comunidad eclesial no hay un libro o una idea abstracta, sino una persona viva. Lo cristiano es inseparable de la persona de Jesucristo; esencialmente consiste en él mismo, en aquello que se ha recogido de sus labios y que puede desprenderse de su vida. Y es que, para la fe cristiana, Jesucristo es el mensajero definitivo (escatológico) de Dios y, formando una sola cosa con él, el hombre definitivo (escatológivo). Es él quien revela el verdadero ser de Dios y el verdadero ser hombre; es una exposición (palabra e imagen) de Dios y un modelo del ser humano. De ahí que el cristianismo y la Iglesia tengan en él no sólo su origen sino también su centro y base permanentes. Como la persona concreta de Jesucristo es el punto de orientación de la fe, es también la que le proporciona la clave para todo lo demás: para la comprensión de Dios, del hombre y del mundo, de la revelación, la gracia y la redención, la comunidad eclesial y su actuación, el futuro, la ética cristiana y la vida práctica. De ahí que, con Tomás de Aquino, se pueda considerar la cristología como compendium theologiae y verbum abbreviatum, cual resumen y boceto básico de toda la teología.» |
