Maravillosa ocasión para descubrir el espíritu de una obra a la que se conoce sobre todo por fragmentos escogidos, por otra parte soberbios: las parábolas del buen samaritano o del hijo pródigo, los episodios de Zaqueo o de la pecadora perdonada, o los relatos de Navidad. Pero el arte narrativo de Lucas va a la par con una exigencia que supera el placer de la lectura: se trata de las implicaciones sociales de la Buena Nueva. Teófilo, el lector «amigo de Dios», a quien se dedica la obra, queda doblemente consolidado en su fe. Y nosotros con él. |
