| Summary, etc. | Memorias de la Dra. Victoria Espinosa (1922) una de las figuras más importantes del teatro puertorriqueño del siglo XX. Se destaca por ser una de las más importantes especialistas de la obra teatral de Federico García Lorca. El primer volumen está dedicado a su vida en el teatro y su primer encuentro con la obra de Lorca en 1940, sus años en el Departamento de Drama de la UPR (1946-1950), sus días en el Middlebury College y su paso por la UNAM en México donde Obtuvo un doctorado en teatro y dirigió numerosas producciones teatrales, hasta su retiro de la Universidad de Puerto Rico. El segundo volumen está dedicado a sus producciones teatrales de las obras de Lorca, incluidos los estrenos mundiales de varias de las obras de Lorca, El Público, la obra surrealista de Lorca y Así que pasen cinco años. Fue la primera en montar y dirigir El Público, la obra surrealista de Lorca, en Puerto Rico 1979. Estas memorias están llenas de rica información sobre la historia del teatro puertorriqueño. |
