| Summary, etc. | Este trabajo lleva por título "Síntesis: Jurisprudencia Procedimiento Criminal'. Se trata, a nuestro juicio, de una síntesis de las decisiones del Tribunal Supremo de Puerto Rico más sobresalientes del Siglo XX y comienzos del siglo XXI – hasta diciembre de 2022 – , especialmente, aquellas relacionadas con la interpretación de las leyes concernientes a las normas jurídicas del Procedimiento Criminal, a tenor de la Constitución de Puerto Rico, las Reglas de Procedimiento Criminal, las leyes especiales y la propia Jurisprudencia del Tribunal Supremo. En nuestro resumen, hemos tratado de incorporar las partes substanciales del caso, sintetizando los hechos esenciales, la controversia, la decisión del Tribunal Supremo y los fundamentos legales que utilizó el Alto Tribunal para lograr la más justa solución de la controversia. En algunas decisiones hemos alargado el resumen de los hechos a los fines de que el lector pueda entender ampliamente cómo el Tribunal ha llegado a sus conclusiones. Asimismo, hemos incluido algunas sentencias que, aunque son decisiones que sólo conciernen a los hechos concretos ante el Tribunal y no sientan jurisprudencia, merecen especial atención por tratar situaciones noveles dentro del campo del Procedimiento Criminal. |
| Expansion of summary note | Esta labor de sintetizar la jurisprudencia conlleva el propósito de ayudar a los estudiantes y a todos los estudiosos del Derecho Puertorriqueño a, en dos tomos, tener acceso a las partes substanciales de la casuística sobre Procedimiento Criminal más utilizada en las diferentes Facultades de Derecho y en otros programas similares -Justicia Criminal- en diferentes universidades del país. En ningún momento, la lectura de los resúmenes aquí incluidos puede sustituir el encuentro directo del lector con la decisión emitida por el Tribunal Supremo, según consta en las avanzadas del Colegio de Abogados, de J.T.S., LexisJuris, o de las Decisiones de Puerto Rico. |
