| Summary, etc. | "Aunque este trabajo lleva por título "Síntesis: Jurisprudencia Derecho de Familia", en realidad, se trata de las decisiones del Tribunal Supremo de Puerto Rico más sobresaliente del siglo XX y comienzos del siglo XXI. En ningún momento la lectura de los resúmenes aquí incluidos puede sustituir el encuentro directo del lector con la decisión emitida por el Tribunal Supremo, según consta en las avanzadas del Colegio de Abogados, de LexJuris o de las Decisiones de Puerto Rico. Otro dato que debemos tomar en consideración al leer la jurisprudencia que presentamos a continuación, es que, en Puerto Rico, contamos con un nuevo Código Civil, el cual afecta, de cierta forma, las figuras jurídicas del Derecho de Familia. Por ejemplo, han desaparecido las causas de divorcio que, hasta entonces, habían permanecido en nuestra vida jurídica de Pueblo.
