| Summary, etc. | Lograr una vida saludable hoy en día es un gran reto. Las organizaciones de la salud enfrentan tiempos turbulentos que dificultan el logro de dicha meta. Es evidente que la globalización, el desdén por el medio ambiente y los recursos naturales, la pobreza y las desigualdades sociales, los efectos secundarios de avances tecnológicos, las pandemias (virus Corona SARS-CoV-2), los grandes intereses económicos y la falta de liderato efectivo, entre otros factores, amenazan seriamente la salud de las poblaciones. Ante este escenario urge que las organizaciones relacionadas a la salud guíen sus destinos con modelos de planificación que faciliten un cambio organizacional efectivo que considere los determinantes sociales de la salud pública.
