| Summary, etc. | El estudio científico de variables asociadas a la psicología positiva ha incrementado significativamente en la literatura científica en Puerto Rico. Sin embargo, hasta el momento no existe una obra dedicada a recopilar y organizar los trabajos conducidos en Puerto Rico vinculados al campo. Por consiguiente, este libro tiene como objetivo exponer una mirada introductoria sobre la rama de la psicología positiva en términos de su desarrollo histórico, objetivos y controversias; documentar y visibilizar los proyectos científicos, programas y hallazgos asociados a la psicología positiva en Puerto Rico; discutir las aportaciones teóricas y clínicas de la psicología positiva a la práctica de la psicología en Puerto Rico; y exponer limitaciones y recomendaciones metodológicas para el desarrollo de futuras investigaciones y programas comunitarios en Puerto Rico basados en la psicología positiva. Para cumplir estos objetivos, este libro expone 20 capítulos desarrollados por 29 autorías pertenecientes a diversas instituciones académicas en Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos de América. |
