| Summary, etc. | Se toma como punto de partida la imagen del mundo que resulta de los logros actuales de las ciencias, y se examinan los principales interrogantes filosóficos sobre la naturaleza a la luz de esa cosmovisión. El resultado es una nueva filosofía de la naturaleza que recoge todo lo válido de la gran tradición filosófica y abre nuevas perspectivas que resultan muy sugerentes. Juan José Sanguineti, actual profesor de la Facultad de Filosofía de la Universidad Pontificia de la Santa Cruz Roma, co–autor con Mariano Artigas de las tres primeras ediciones, afirma en el Prólogo: «Con notable amplitud de miras, Artigas consigue en este libro dar una visión filosófica de fondo de las realidades naturales del mundo material que concilia los aspectos perennes del planteamiento metafísico clásico con la nueva cosmovisión de la naturaleza que emerge de la ciencia moderna, sin un concordismo extrínseco, sino repensando los temas desde su raíz. |
