| Summary, etc. | La sencación de que la Iglesia debe renovarse es una constnate a lo largo de su historia, pues en su vida concreta no reproduce de manera exacta el ideal evangélico y tampoco está en total sintonía con el mundo que vive. Nadie puede negar queel Concilio Vaticano II ha promovido un resurgimiento espiritual, un impulso misionero, el diálogo con el mundo contemporáneo, el ecumenismo, la transformación de las instituciones para promover la vida laical y la participación de todos. Pero siguen muy rpesentes algunos graves problemas internos, la tibia vida de fe de muchos cristianos y la provocación de una cultura ya postcristiana. Sólo desde Dios y con el deseo de convertirse y acercarse a Él es posible una renovación autémtica y eficaz. La aportación de la Iglesia al mundo se sitúa en este orden teológico y espiritual. Este principio teológico, base de la verdadera reforma, ha de completarse con la apertura a los anhelos y sufrimientos del mundo, el discernimiento del sentido de comunidad y la integración de la tradición, auténtica objetividad teológica alentada por el Espíritu Santo. |
