| Summary, etc. | "Francisco Lluch Mora (1924 - 2006) es uno de los poetas más relevantes de la segunda parte del siglo XX puertorriqueño. Cofundador del movimiento literario trascendentalista (1948), alcanzó renombre nacional no solo por su vasta obra poética, sino por su labor de primer orden como educador, crítico literario y estudioso de la microhistoria puertorriqueña. Al acercarse la fecha del centenario del poeta, su discípulo, colega y amigo, José Juan Báez Fumero, recopila un conjunto de artículos y ensayos escritos en las pasadas tres décadas en los que ofrece una visión panorámica de las preocupaciones literarias y espirituales medulares del distinguido humanista yaucano. Al estudiar sus primeras incursiones en el mundo literario a finales de la cuarta década del pasado siglo, su participación activa en la experiencia cultural de su natal Yauco en la década siguiente, y su proyección en el mundo intelectual puertorriqueño a lo largo de la segunda parte del siglo XX, retratan de forma muy particular a uno de los más depurados artistas de la poesía e historiografía puertorriqueñas contemporáneas" |
