| Summary, etc. | El ser humano se siente responsable de su propia vida y, aunque ambigüedad e insolidaridad, responsable también de la vida de los demás. La cultura contemporánea ha convertido esa responsabilidad en una encrucijada de valores, y la técnica plantea cada día innumerables cuestiones éticas sobre el cuidado de la vida. El presente libro se ocupa de los temas relativos a la concepción de la vida, la conservación de la salud, la muerte humana y la ecología. Y lo hace desde una perspectiva trascendente, pues para la fe cristiana Dios es la «fuente de la vida». Creer en un DIos Creador y amigo de la vida, creer en el Cristo resucitado y creer en el Espíritu, que es «Señor y dador de vida», implica una actitud positiva responsable ante la vida humana. La vida «biológica» es un don y una tarea que suscitan nuestra gratitud y nuestro compromiso. En este sentido, la existencia de los valores éticos es una invitación constante a humanizar la vida comunitariamente, tanto individual como socialmente. |
