| Summary, etc. | "La alta capacidad intelectual (ACI) es una compleja manifestación de la inteligencia humana. Es escasa en cuanto a su prevalencia, pero de gran valor personal y social dadas u influencia en las vidas de quienes la poseen y el alto potencial que comporta para contribuir al progreso humano y social en cualquier campo: científico-tecnológico, político, artístico, servicios, etc.Los expertos insisten en la necesidad de redefinirla acorde al mundo actual, inmerso en la globalización, los avances tecnológicos o la interdisciplinariedad del conocimiento, dejando de lado tendencias estereotipadas y criterios erróneos de identificación o educación inspirados en afirmaciones y prácticas ya caducas.Este libro parte de una conceptualización de la ACI basada en evidencias científicas interdisciplinares, con-trastadas y actualizadas desde la neurociencia y el neuroconstructivismo, de la que derivan criterios diagnósticos y prácticas de intervención educativa eficaces, éticos y responsables. Con ello, reflexiona sobre el estado y la respuesta del sistema educativo actual, y ofrece enfoques, pautas e instrumentos para una educación repensada de la ACI en contextos escolares y extraescolares que han mostrado su eficacia. De esta forma se lograrán aprendices autónomos, pensadores capaces de resolver problemas complejos, integrando éticamente sus competencias cognitivas y sociales y su bienestar personal en la heterogeneidad del siglo XXI." -- Back cover. |
