| Summary, etc. | La Biblia griega o Septuaginta )LXX= es una colección de escritos, la mayor parte de ellos traducidos del hebreo y algunos redactados originalmente en griego, que fue compuesta desde el siglo III a.C. hasta el I d.C. El nombre alude al número de setenta o setenta y dos eruditos que según la legendaria Carta de Aristeas tradujeron la Torá judía en Alejandría (285-246 a.C.). Comúnmente, sin embargo, se entiende por Septuaginta los libros que Alfred Rahfs recoge en su edici♀n de 1935, y que coincide con los principales códices unciales: Vaticano, Sinaítico y Alejandrino (siglos IV y V d.C.), los cuales conservan las primeras biblias crisitanas completas. |
