La Biblia griega o Septuaginta (LXX) es una colección de escritos, la mayor parte de ellos traducidos del hebreo y algunos redactados originalmente en griego, que fue compuesta desde el siglo III a.C. hasta el I d.C.. Elnombre alude al número de setenta o setenta y dos eruditos que según la legendaria Carta de Aristeas tradujeron la Torá judía en Alejandría (285-246 a.C.). Comunmente, sin embargo, se entiende por Septuaginta los libros ALfred Rahfs recoge en su edición 1935, y que coincide con los principales códices unciales: Vaticano, Sinaítico Alejandrino (siglos IV y V d.C.), los cuales conservan las primeras biblias cristianas completas. El plan general de La Biblia griega-Septuaginta. Traducción española está compuesto por cuatro volúmenes : I. Pentateuco; II. Libros históricos; III. Libros poéticos y sapienciales; y IV. Libros proféticos. |
