| Summary, etc. | La primera edición del Atlas mundial del vino hizo historia en el mundo editorial en 1971, fecha de su publicación. Por primera vez se unían en un volumen la claridad y la precisión de una cartografía exquisita con el vino y sus placeres. Ofrecía una guía gráfica única sobre los nombres conocidos y desconocidos de las etiquetas; las relaciones entre viñedos, pueblos y sus paisajes, sus terroirs, se hacían patentes y memorables. Con la evolución del vino a lo largo de más de medio siglo, las mejoras en la calidad y en el fundamental «sentido del lugar», los mapas ofrecen más información que nunca a todo el que esté interesado en conocer sus complejidades esenciales. Resultado: el libro se ha traducido a 15 idiomas, se han vendido 4,7 millones de ejemplares y se considera la guía sobre la geografía del vino más acreditada y esencial que existe. |
