| Summary, etc. | Vivimos en una sociedad en la que sufrimos numerosas situaciones de incertidumbre que chocan con nuestra necesidad de control y de certezas. Así, este texto se centra en las dificultades que tenemos los seres humanos para afrontar y asumir la incertidumbre. Ante ella, experimentamos ansiedad, depresión, miedos o temor. De interés para profesionales de la psicoterapia y la psicología clínica, este texto enmarca, conceptual y clínicamente, el afrontamiento de la incertidumbre desde la perspectiva de la terapia lingüística de evaluación. Nos muestra el camino terapéutico a recorrer desde el malestar ante la incertidumbre hasta su aceptación. Se ejemplifica el antes y el después de este proceso mediante el empleo de técnicas terapéuticas, junto con numerosos ejemplos de diálogos paciente-terapeuta comentados y tareas de pacientes explicadas. Con ello se facilita que el terapeuta guíe al paciente para dejar el control pleno y asumir la incertidumbre, la inseguridad, las dudas, las probabilidades, logrando, finalmente, aceptar lo que le pasa cuando escapa a su control. En definitiva, seguir lo aquí propuesto nos ayudará a sentirnos cómodos al enfrentarnos a la dificultad de control y a la incertidumbre concurrente. |
