| Summary, etc. | Tras el concilio Vaticano II el tema de María ha sido objeto de numerosos planteamientos, tanto en el plano de la fe como en el de la teología. Los críticos cuestionaron cada vez más el lugar de María en la Iglesia católica. A la imagen unilateral de la madre humilde y pura, se le contraponen críticamente otras imágenes. Estos planteamientos y críticas son fruto de las nuevas concepciones y perspectivas de la Iglesia a partir del Concilio. Es curioso que, desde hace algún tiempo, los teólogos hayan escrito poco sobre María. La reanudación de los debates se debe sobre todo a las teólogas feministas. Este libro está escrito por un teólogo de reconocido prestigio y por una teóloga feminista, ambos católicos, que vivieron activa y comprometidamente los nuevos horizontes abiertos por el Concilio. No es un estudio exhaustivo sobre María, pero ellos explican sus posturas de ayer y de hoy, y su evolución, así como la importancia de abordar críticamente la tradición y hacerla actual. Es un libro dirigido a todo el que quiera conocer el significado de María ayer y hoy. Porque este libro critica posturas, hace propuestas, y por tanto mueve a estudiar, a revisar posiciones y a reflexionar sobre la actitud personal y eclesial ante la Virgen. |
