| Summary, etc. | La esucaristía es el misterio central de la vida cristiana. En ella están presentes la Encarnación, el sacrificio redentor de Cristo, la comunión de la Iglesia y la prenda de la gloria futura. Se comprende así que, a partir de las palabras de Cristo en la Última Cena, la Iglesia no haya cesado de reflexionar para comprender mejor y vivir este misterio de vida. Pero, precisamente por su crucial importancia, no han cesado a lo largo de la historia las controversias, las dificultades de comprensión e, incluso, la negación del misterio eucarístico. En pocos temas como este ha tenido que intervenir tanto el Magisterio. la renovación litúrgica del Vaticano II ha propiciado una mejor comprensión y participación de la Eucaristía pero también en esta época han nacido teorías teológicas que desvirtúan la presencia real de Cristo y conducen al olvido de la adoración eucarística o que oscurecen el aspecto sacrifical. Sayés aborda en este texto, claro, completo y accesible, toda la problemática tanto clásica como actual de la Eucarisía. Expone con claridad la doctrina positiva de la Iglesia y aborda las dificultades que se han producido a lo largo de los siglos. Y todo ello sobre un estudio profundo de la Biblia y de la Tradición en el que ha sabido aunar la investigación histórica con la reflexión teológica. |
