| Summary, etc. | La presente obra constituye un esfuerzo por reflexionar y ofrecer los fundamentos y las categorías más importantes de la moral fundamental en el contexto de esperanza eclesial que vivimos. De esta manera, los autores responden a la llamada que el Concilio Vaticano II hizo a los moralistas para que perfeccionaran la teología moral (OT 16). Desean entrar en un diálogo constructivo con el conjunto de la comunidad teológica moral católica, en comunión eclesial y sin soslayar debates ni ocultar diferencias, con el fin de ayudar a quienes deseen formarse seriamente en esta disciplina. En esta obra se presentan sin complejos los valores irrenunciables de la moral cristiana con la convicción de que la prioridad del mensaje de Jesús está en el don de la gracia, el amor y la misericordia que activan y nutren la libertad personal y abren las posibilidades del crecimiento humano responsable en pos del bien y la verdad. Así, esta Moral fundamental se sitúa en la tradición jesuítica, hoy tan patente en la senda marcada por el papa Francisco cuando Evangelii Gaudium llama a una moral del amor, del diálogo, de la paciencia y de la cercanía, más que de la obligación, de la imposición, del adoctrinamiento o de la condena. El resultado final de la obra es el fruto de un intenso trabajo en común que los autores vienen realizando desde años en la Facultad de Teología de la Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid. Firmemente arraigados en la espiritualidad ignaciana, su intención fundamental es ofrecer las bases teológicas para el discriminatorio moral que permita a las personas actuar ad maiorem Dei gloriam. Y como no puede haber verdadera gloria y servicio de Dios que no sea para bien y servicio del ser humano, este libro es sobre todo para que las personas vivan elegiendo el bien en libertad, y así tiendan hacia la plenitud. |
