| Summary, etc. | Esta obra viene a llenar un hueco en la literatura clínica especializada en castellano sobre el empleo de hipnosis en el abordaje terapéutico del trauma y la disociación. El libro está dirigido a los profesionales sanitarios, sobre todo con formación en psicología y medicina. Se trata de un manual de técnicas y procedimientos basados en la sugestión que propone un abordaje práctico e integral, por objetivos, de los distintos aspectos centrales y desadaptativos de la respuesta al trauma. Está orientado en especial al empleo de la sugestión para el manejo y la regulación de los factores cognitivos, afectivos y emocionales, a potenciar la eficacia de los abordajes conocidos, contrastados científicamente, y a resolver efectivamente muchos de los escollos que se encuentra el profesional en la clínica diaria con pacientes traumatizados. El objetivo esencial, en definitiva, es proporcionar a los profesionales de la salud estrategias sugestivas útiles, desde un marco eminentemente neurocientífico y cognitivo-conductual, que potencien y extiendan la eficacia terapéutica de los abordajes del trauma que el profesional utilice regularmente en su práctica clínica. |
