| Summary, etc. | Las normas jurídicas permean nuestras vidas. Casi a diario se aprueban o emiten leyes, reglamentos, ordenanzas, opiniones judiciales o contratos que impactan nuestra conducta individual y la vida en sociedad. La mayoría de las veces resulta relativamente fácil entender qué exactamente disponen o exigen estas normas. Esto es producto de un ejercicio efectivo de redacción y comunicación. Hay instancias, no obstante, en las que existen dudas sobre el contenido de una norma jurídica. En estos casos, es necesario emplear una serie de herramientas analíticas que nos permitan aclarar dichas dudas. Específicamente, estas herramientas atienden posibles errores o insuficiencias en la redacción o comunicación, de manera que exista mayor sintonía entre la norma adoptada y nuestra lectura. En el contexto jurídico, muchas de estas herramientas se articulan como cánones de interpretación. En este libro, Hermenéutica puertorriqueña: cánones de interpretación jurídica, analizamos estos cánones individualmente mediante una discusión de su contenido conceptual y el uso de ejemplos prácticos que faciliten su entendimiento y potenciales aplicaciones. Igualmente, estudiaremos estos cánones de forma integrada como parte de un andamiaje normativo abarcador, de manera que se fomente la profundidad analítica y metodológica en el ejercicio interpretativo en Puerto Rico. |
