| Summary, etc. | Nueva edición del texto de histología que presenta de forma sucinta, pero muy didáctica, los conceptos propios de la histología desde un enfoque de la biología molecular y celular incluyendo un alto grado de correlación clínica, así como un elevado número de ilustraciones (esquemas explicativos y micrografías). El texto se posiciona como una obra “bisagra” alrededor del cual se articulan las diversas disciplinas: anatomía macroscópica, anatomía funcional, biología celular y molecular, fisiología y fisiopatología. Por primera vez se incluye un apartado “Instrucciones para el laboratorio” confiriéndole al texto una doble función; por un lado, un manual y por otro un material para las prácticas de la asignatura. Se incluyen nuevos diagramas y esquemas, 16 tablas y > 170 micrografías. A nivel conceptual se incluyen las novedades más recientes en las siguientes temáticas: proteínas que forman parte del retículo endoplasmático, presencia de células madre en el tejido adiposo, la importancia del microbioma en la presentación y desarrollo de enfermedades y el recién descubierto sistema “glinfático” y su papel en la enfermedad de Alzheimer. La obra incorpora acceso a SC.com (todo el contenido en inglés) en el que se incluye: un banco de presentaciones organizadas por capítulos y un banco de 200 preguntas de autoevaluación. |
