| Summary, etc. | El tratamiento de la enfermedad de Alzheimer debe estar dado por dos componentes principales, los cuales deben ser combinados para lograr una mayor eficacia: * Tratamiento Farmacológico. * Tratamiento No Farmacológico: intervenciones sin fármacos o agentes químicos, que tienen por objetivo mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas afectadas. Posibles métodos: musicoterapia, reminiscencia, orientación a la realidad, arteterapia, estimulación cognitiva, etc. Nuestro cerebro tiene la capacidad de adaptarse (Neuroplasticidad) y generar nuevas redes neuronales, es por esto que este cuadernillo apunta a estimular todas las funciones cognitivas, para mantener o mejorar aquellas que están conservadas y estimular aquellas que han sido afectadas. Alzheimer Box ofrece “Estimulación Cognitiva para personas con Alzheimer”, con el objetivo de potenciar las habilidades, reforzar las que fueron afectadas y procurar una mayor autonomía, mejorar el estado de ánimo, autoestima e interacción social. A través de ejercicios, actividades y estrategias y así poder enlentecer el proceso del deterioro cognitivo, propio de la enfermedad de Alzheimer. |
