Algunas obras esenciales -la cabina de señales ferroviaria, la bodega Dominus, la Tate Modern, los diferentes estadios, del Allianz Arena al 'nido' de Pekín, o el CaixaForum madrileño- se describen a continuación en detalle, pero también se glosan propuestas no realizadas y escenografías para óperas, se ensaya una catalogación de sus rasgos estilísticos en forma de diccionario, y se exploran sus raíces intelectuales a través de los textos publicados por la pareja de arquitectos. El conjunto se cierra con un artículo que abrevia sintéticamente su biografía al doblar el cabo de los 70 años, y sugiere los motivos por los cuales han llegado a convertirse en el 'patrón de oro' de la arquitectura. |
