| Summary, etc. | Los dieciséis artículos recogidos aquí, publicados a lo largo de las tres últimas décadas, recorren la fértil carrera de Rafael Moneo. Introducidos por una breve biografía que facilita situar en su trayectoria los diferentes edificios que se comentan, la secuencia de textos se inicia con la introducción a la monografía de su trabajo que publicó AV en 1992 y se cierra con dos reflexiones del propio arquitecto sobre su itinerario intelectual y sobre el desarrollo de su obra. Los restantes textos abordan en detalle proyectos como la Fundación Pilar y Joan Miró, la Illa barcelonesa, la ampliación del ayuntamiento de Murcia, el Kursaal de San Sebastián, la catedral de Los Ángeles o el Banco de España en Madrid, y usan la dimensión académica de Moneo para sugerir las lecciones incorporadas en cada una de sus obras, desde la sede de Bankinter o el museo de Mérida, que él mismo se ha preocupado de explicar en artículos y libros, profesor al cabo por encima de todo. |
