| Summary, etc. | Este libro es producto de un investigación documental que pretende mejorar el conocimiento de la aportación de la religión Católica a la sociedad puertorriqueña. El ser nacional puertorriqueño esta formado originariamente por la experiencia del catolicismo español de la época colonial en América. Pero en el transcurri del siglo XX, Puerto Rico se ha encuadrado entre dos manifestaciones religiosas: el catolicismo, que marcó el dominio español y el protestantismo que marcóo el dominio estadounidense. Ambas experiencias inciden en los acontecimientos históricos de orden sociopolítico en la nación puertorriqueña. El propósito de esta investigación es presentar la relació de la religión con otras instituciones de la sociedad como la política y la economía. |
